Years ago, I started out in radio as a part-timer. Just a few days later, the program director called and offered me a full-time role working the overnight shift. He sat me down behind a microphone and two turntables, giving me a quick five-minute lesson in radio. As he left, he said, “Play what you want, get the hang of it, you’ll be fine.” (Though, that particular night I wasn’t)

Since then, I’ve worked every shift in radio, served as both music director and program director. I was with WKKW until 1996, then moved to FBY where I spent 13 1/2 years. And now, here I am, the afternoon driver on 101.3 The Bear. Over the years, I’ve met a lot of people and been blessed with many friends.
